Avery’s view is that a good understanding of the root systems of astrology can be grounding. Astrology, at its core, is about understanding the powers and patterns at play in our lives. When looking at an astrological chart as a whole, with tried and trusted techniques in hand, you can unpack a lot of information that holds true. They also believe that it’s important to be careful to hold your experiences of reality above your astrological interpretations, and to adjust your understanding of astrology to match what is happening in reality. In this workshop, Avery will help you develop your own understanding of your astrological chart.

Avery practices western tropical Hellenistic astrology. This tradition originated in Hellenistic Greek around the first century B.C.E., with its own roots in ancient Mesopotamia. They are also familiar with and incorporate more modern astrology techniques.
