Entry costs $15 and includes a black pre-cut art sheet plus one white CrayPas per entry. The precut sheets must be returned by Oct 20 to decorate our windows for the spookiest season and to be considered for the judging. Only 18 sheets are available so don’t wait to come reserve your window!
The contest will be judged by our Woodsy guests and people (including the artists) can vote once per day. The final vote and awards will be tallied on Oct 30 so that the winner can be spotlighted on Halloween!

Older Adult Writing Workshop
Megan Hebdon is a researcher at the University of Utah who focus her research on dementia care and family caregivers of someone with dementia. And we are so incredibly lucky to have her come to do a writing workshop.
You do not to be a person with dementia or a caregiver of someone with dementia to attend.
We'll begin with a shared reading of a short poem, followed by a brief discussion. After that, we'll have a writing prompt designed to spark your creativity and help you connect with your own unique experiences. All experience levels welcome!

Live Music Friday: Adam Johnston
As a piano player, Adam is usually found on stage along with Standards & Substandards. But
once in a while he gets set free on his own, taking his piano and an abused microphone into
tight corners and small stages. With an improvisational style, Adam likes to pull from a catalog
of favorite songwriters and repurpose them for solo piano and vocals in reimagined
arrangements. A collection of originals gets sprinkled throughout the set, inspired by the likes of
Randy Newman or Ben Folds but unapologetically (or embarrassingly) his own.
