On “Woodsy Gives Back” night, 50% of our food sales go to a local group or organization. The donation for June will go to TRESO- USA Join us between 6-8 pm to meet a representative to learn more about how TRESO-USA serves our community.

The mission of TRESO-USA is to fund and support Tanganyika Modern Secondary School in rural Tanzania — providing quality, STEM-focused education to youth with an emphasis on girls' access and equity.

While their doors are open to all students, they are especially interested in education for girls and other under-privileged populations. The broader community also benefits from this school through adult education classes and easier access to clean water and electricity.

As little as $46 a month covers the tuition for one student for an entire year. They are also looking to fund projects to make the school more sustainable such as beehives and chicken coops. Such projects will reduce food costs and give the school something to sell when they have excess.

Even a small amount can make a difference for one student. So let’s help TRESO support brighter futures for these incredible students.
